Well there appears to be a lot of confusion doing the rounds regarding the day of the final results. As someone on PagalGuy pointed out, it's mentioned in CAT notification itself - http://www.catiim.in/downloads/CAT-2008%20Notification%20(2).pdf
I quote here from the last point under 'Admission Process'.
Candidates, who appeared in GD/PI will be able to view whether they have been offered admission by different IIMs on April 10, 2009 by visiting the websites of respective IIMs. Admission offer letter would be sent to all successful candidates by different IIMs for which the candidates have been selected. Candidates, who are offered admission, need to confirm their acceptance by completing all the required formalities by May 1, 2009. Some candidates may also be placed on the waiting list initially on April 10, 2009. Offers to candidates on the waiting list would depend upon the number of successful candidates accepting the offer made by an IIM.
Well, there you have it. Now we can actually pin an actual date to our musings.

Anyway after having screwed my C and L interviews baaaaaaaaaaaaaadd, I am gonna be checking out on i ad k websites ....... Hope at least woh mila jaye yaar.... or else i ll have to do mba in my cheldrens batch ..... anyway ur experiences seem good .... looks like A is a done deal for u ....
